Bowling Green, OH – Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn announced today that the Wood County Sheriff’s Office will have increased patrol activity thanks to grant funding from the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Governor’s Highway Safety Office. Deputies will work additional hours, funded by the grant, looking for impaired drivers, enforcing traffic laws and monitoring speed and seat belt violations. Sheriff Wasylyshyn states that the traffic enforcement blitz titled “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over”, includes hours from August 19, 2011 and concludes on Labor Day, September 5, 2011.
