Importuning - Arrington

Bowling Green, OH – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit (ICAC) culminated an online chat investigation, which began in October of 2011, by arresting Arthur H. Arrington at his Bowling Green residence today. Arrington, 57, was charged with one (1) count of felony importuning.

While at his residence, Deputies executed a search warrant. Arrington was transported to the Wood County Justice Center pending his initial arraignment at the Bowling Green Municipal Court.

Arrington is currently a registered sex offender as a result of a 2007 conviction for Importuning through the Wood County Common Pleas Court.

The ICAC unit received assistance from the Wood County Adult Probation Department and the Wood County Prosecutor’s Office.
